February 13, 2007 Main site down

Perhaps you were expecting to visit the fromoz.com site. I messed up messed up the site was taken down by my host due to a bad script using too much processor time. I'm feeling bad about the fact I probably also took other people's sites down with me when I did it.

Hopefully the full site will be up again very soon.

August 4, 2007 Learing to Blog

It seems that we missed the blogging revolution. Or at least came in late. We have started 2 blogs.

The first one is David and Cassandra's Blog. This blog will probably replace this website once we get it up and running properly (as you know that could take forever).

The second is Living in Tochigi, Japan. We started this one because we want to learn how blogging really works. So we will explore things like joining a community, google page rank etc.

We also put a page up at fromoz This is our new online home. But most of our updates will be on the blogs

On a side note, I'd like to make my name pop up when people Google me. So far a search for David Rolph just shows a million other David Rolphs and not me. So I just want to mention my real name here ;-)

October 2, 2006 Website

The USA National Parks writes ups are posted under trips. They could stand a bit more improvement, but we'll probably write up some Japan and maybe a bit about leaving USA before we go back to doing that.

Dave is back at work. So far its great fun.

Sept. 26, 2006 Website

The new look for the site is ready enough to go live. For those of you interested in the technology, Its fully CSS based, so it should be a lot easier to maintain. Also I used a few little snippets of PHP to make the menus easy to keep up to date. There are lots of blank spaces, sorry about that.

We are in Japan now and will get to work on documenting our USA trip and starting to put some Japan stuff in there.

Well we got a job in Japan and are on the move. See the trips section for our pre-departure USA trip. We'll also post about Japan once we get there.
